CSV - Database import “Main options” tab 

This dialog permits you to decide the format for the imported file: you choose the fields, the separator and the delimiter. Click on the image in order to see the other tabs, and for more information. 

The settings for the entire dialog may be saved within the Options tab. 

 

 

Usually you press the “Load CSV file” in order to see your CSV file within the white text box. Then you try to match it with the gray text box, by configuring the Separator, the Delimiter, the fields on the right. 

With the “Test parsing” button you can perform a test on the input file. The program will attempt to read the first line of the file and to parse the various identifiers, generating a report that you may use for refining the settings or the CSV file, before the actual import. 

The “automatically set category / sub / titles as keywords” tells the program to include these fields as keywords for the automatically generated pages. You can access to the global keywords and page keywords as usual (click here).
